Meal Plans

To meet your campus dining needs, we offer the following meal plans for the academic year. If you would like to add or increase your meal plan, please contact Residence Life.  Please note that Traditional Residence Halls and Suites Hall have a minimum meal plan requirement.

Meal Plans listed below are for the 2020-2021 academic year.

Unlimited/19 Meal Plan (required for all First-Year Students)

  • UNLIMITED (19 Meal Plann) Meals at Raymond Hall
  • 5 Guest Passes per semester
  • $200 Friar Bucks per semester

15 Meal Plan (minimum for Traditional Halls except for First-Year Students)

  • 15 Meals per week at Raymond Hall
  • 3 Guest Passes per semester
  • $225 Friar Bucks per semester

11 Meal Plan (minimum for Suites Hall)

  • 11 Meals per week at Raymond Hall
  • 3 Guest Passes per semester
  • $250 Friar Bucks per semester

7 Meal Plan

  • 7 Meals per week at Raymond Hall
  • 2 Guest Passes per semester
  • $275 Friar Bucks per semester

75 Block Meal Plan

  • 75 Meals per semester at Raymond Hall
  • 0 Guest Passes per semester
  • 0 Friar Bucks per semester (must be added separately)

Friar Bucks

Friar Bucks are tied to your meal plan and can be spent in the Alumni Hall Food Court, Eaton Street Cafe, Ruane Cafe’, Raymond Hall Dining, and Schneider Arena Concessions. Friar Bucks carryover from the fall semester to the spring semester, as long as the student keeps their meal plan. At the end of the spring semester, any unused Friar Bucks will be forfeited.

You can load additional Friar Bucks to your PC ID through the PC Online Card Office at any time.

PC Cash

PC Cash can be used at Eaton Street Cafe, Ruane Cafe, Dunkin Donuts, McPhail’s, and Schneider Concessions. PC Cash carries each semester until graduation, at which time any PC Cash balance under $25 will not be refunded. Account balances $25 or higher will be applied to any outstanding balance you may have with the College. Any remaining balance will be returned in a check.

You can load PC Cash online with a credit card at the Online Card Office or at one of the four cash-to-card machines located on campus (lower level of Slavin, the first floor of the Philips Memorial Library, Accinno Hall-first floor, and the Ryan School of Business-first floor), or in person at Harkins Hall, Room 401 by cash or check.


Frequently Asked Questions

Am I required to purchase a meal plan?

All freshmen are required to have the unlimited (19 meal plan) meal plan. Sophomores or higher that are living in a Residence Hall are required to have a minimum of a 15 meal plan. Students living in the suites are required to have a minimum of 11 meal plan. The 7 meal plan & 75 block plan are only available to off-campus students, students living in the Apartments, and commuter students.

Can I make changes to my meal plan?

All meal plan change requests must be made by contacting Residence Life and be submitted no later than 7 business days from the first day of classes.

What is Friar Bucks?

Friar Bucks is a meal plan debit account that is tied to your meal plan and can be used to purchase meals at Alumni Food Court, Eaton Street Cafe, Ruane Café, and Schneider Arena. You may also use Friar Bucks to enter Raymond Hall if you have run out of weekly meals. The amount of Friar Bucks available is based on the student’s meal plan. Balances carry over from the fall to the spring semester, as long as you maintain your meal plan. At the end of the spring semester, any unused Friar Bucks will be forfeited. 

If you run out of Friar Bucks you can load additional Friar Bucks to your PC ID through the online card office.  At the end of the spring semester, any balance in the account will be forfeited.

What are Additional Friar Bucks?

Additional Friar Bucks is a prepaid debit account that you can add funds to through the online card office. Any remaining balance at the end of the academic year (or if the meal plan is canceled) is transferred to the student’s PC Cash account. Friar Bucks and Additional Friar Bucks are accepted at the same locations.

What is PC Cash?

PC Cash can be used at both on and off-campus locations. PC Cash carries over from semester to semester until graduation. Any balances under $25 will not be refunded and used as an administration fee. Account balances greater than $25 will be applied to any outstanding balance they may have with the college. Any remaining balance will be returned to the student in a check.
